I became interested in trying to lighten a picture with warm colours.

We are starting a new section – gallery posts! Valentine’s Day is here! 🙂

When the idea of this resource was born, one of its goals was to become a kind of mini-gallery of our works. This is not a portfolio at all, but rather an attempt to develop in different directions. So today I will present to your attention my first series of photos called “Hearts”, dedicated to Valentine’s Day!

I’m still a retoucher, but I’m starting to learn

The idea for this photo shoot came to me when I saw an interestingly shaped garland in the store. It must have been for a holiday, but we just liked it and bought it. It cost about 4$.

Interesting star effect from a Panasonic camera

I immediately had a desire to experiment with cameras and light. The initial idea was realized in the previous shot, but when you have material, inspiration, and a model, you want to try to shoot something more and more…

A wonderful combination of shadow and model

And we decided to use everything we had – clothes, a garland (which was supposed to be for bokeh), a bed…my wife thinks the background might not be the same, but I like a variety of backgrounds that show the naturalness of the shooting.

The mirror experience can be quite interesting

Sometimes I use the single color mode, which sometimes gives a very interesting result. However, you have to know how to use it correctly. Here the camera also captured the skin tone, but I like the end result.

Faded tones…risky? Maybe. But I liked it

Using unusual filters interests and scares me at the same time. It always seems like the work might be perceived somehow “wrong”, but on the other hand…it’s my work and my creative approach. The colour is exactly what I wanted 🙂

The light can also be used in a circle

Lanterns can be used in other ways, which adds a certain charm to the picture. And although the hearts didn’t always look like hearts, it was still interesting that they were all different colours and made of interesting threads.

A model doesn’t always have to be completely photographed when they have seductive shapes

There are rules of the tritin and other rules of “true photos”, but I am simply guided by my taste. I never want to take photos like everyone else, no matter how popular they might be. Because I do it as I see it. As I feel like it.

I became interested in trying to lighten a picture with warm colours.

It’s rare to see light skin in my photos, especially since my model’s skin is not very light by itself. However, my editing experience has shown that it is possible to change the shade a bit. What do you think?

Sometimes the shadow may seem like too much, but that’s the secret

I’m interested in photographing the body first, not its parts. Because of this, the pictures may not have enough sexuality, but I’m not trying to arouse anyone with my pictures. I want people to think the opposite.

In monochrome, hearts look like lanterns

Although I am increasingly becoming a photographer, albeit a very amateur one, I don’t think that these pictures will ever be in any exhibition. So you have a unique opportunity to visit…my exhibition without an exhibition. This is a place where I can show you what I can’t show in ordinary life, which I really regret.

Mysteriousness is our everything

I wish I could be inspired more often and make similar series that I could publish more often on these pages. All the pictures feature my wife, who always acts as my model (except, of course, me, when I do other work). I would probably be interested in photographing other people, but I think that in the very near future I won’t find any models who would agree to some creative experiments. Do I regret it? Not really. Because I always have at least two models 🙂
