H-Isekai Loves. A match-3 game that has it all! 18+

It’s rare to find games that truly surprise you. And this is one of them!

The genre of “three in a row” is probably the simplest one you can imagine among games. It is a kind of modern “Solitaire”, which was popular in the zero years among housewives. Time passed, housewives grew up, and other games appeared that belonged to the class of “logical”. In most cases, the only thing that such games are aimed at is to earn money from you, because on phones they can almost always be downloaded for free as an application, and have a donation function for various bonuses. But today we will talk about a game that we buy and play to our heart’s content, without paying anything extra. What is so special about it?

H-Isekai Loves is a game with a strange name that I can’t even read properly. I came across it by accident. The plot reminded me of the anime “This Beautiful World, Blessed by God!”, where the main character ends up in an online game after his death. Everything is a little different here, but the essence is more or less the same. Of course, for a game with an 18+ rating, most of the characters in it will be female and, of course, with great…charisma. However, you understand that I wouldn’t be enthusiastic about writing about a game whose main feature is girls with busts. And there are plenty of features in it.

Genre

If we talk about the genre, then “match three” is the main genre. There are also elements of a novel (a lot of character dialogues, although without the ability to choose options), puzzles (part of the gameplay), a role-playing component (pumping attack power and skills), a gambling game (a demonic casino!). The battles are divided into fights with monsters (an automatic battle, when, in case of victory, we receive a boost that is given to us by a particular killed enemy) and fights with girls. Be prepared that you will have to fight for everything – to prove that you are really strong. To prove that you did not just steal panties from the window, but went to buy a potion, and…all 27 chapters of the game require us to fight-fight-fight. So 80% of the time it is match three, the other 20% is everything else. But this 80% is so well done that you even forget what game you entered.

Let’s walk through the interface

The game window is not much like a classic “three in a row”. Here there is a strengthening of characteristics or attacks from a monster, an item panel), a bonus from a companion, a skill panel, the current and future enemy attack. The basis of the game is the same – the more stones we collect, the stronger the stone that was in the center of the combo becomes. The battle is step-by-step, the enemy attack or the enemy’s use of skills does not occur immediately, but after several moves of the player. This makes it possible to develop your strategy for the next few moves. Collecting red stones in the shape of a heart heals the character, collecting blue ones adds mana, which we can use for skills. Unfortunately, skills are not selected here, so this direction in the game is quite limited, however, there are 1-2 of the most necessary skills here (for example, healing, which I highly recommend pumping to the maximum – it allows you to remove negative effects from the field).

During the first playthrough, I didn’t understand the mechanics of the game, and it seemed quite complicated. When it became clear how to level up, everything became a little easier. When I started playing again (there were some problems with getting achievements, which I’ll talk about a little later), the first thought was “well, I know the mechanics, I know what’s better to level up and how, now I’ll quickly go through everything again”. But everything turned out to be not so easy. The game has a fairly comfortable gradual increase in complexity, which is why you don’t have the opportunity to create some super-player who will easily go through battles without stopping. The level of implementation of this part of the game indicates to us the main genre. It was all the more pleasant to understand that such games are not only “about tits”. What else are they about?

Humour

Most of the dialogue here is devoted to humour. Because the genre itself seems to hint that there shouldn’t be any solutions to serious problems here, and therefore…

There are two types of humour here – here’s an example above, when the hero disguises himself in the clothes of an enemy, and so that he is not recognized, he makes himself a real heroic mask out of… panties! Yes, yes. How did he get them? Well… a girl taught him the magic of telekinesis, and when he tried with all his might to use his new skill to move a vase, (somehow strangely) all he managed to do was get his hands on her panties.

The humour here is quite diverse, however, if you don’t like all the “breast size” stuff and the like, then…you’ll probably pass by the game from a “slap” perspective. It seemed to me that the sense of humour would appeal to most people who like anime. Not least because the game visually reminds them of them.

Graphic design

I would say that this is not even a novella, but rather a comic book. Many reactions and moments are not expressed simply in text, but are displayed in the form of separate drawings, like the one above, for example. This adds liveliness to the dialogues, diluting the text. The images in the game themselves send me, again, to the feeling that you are simply watching some series and they are telling you a story.

Although there aren’t that many game locations, the backgrounds are different enough not to get boring. Animation is used to display the characters, which also adds liveliness to the gameplay. Overall, for how the game is drawn and what feelings it evokes, I would give it a solid five.

18+

Here we can say without a doubt that…90% of the time I forgot that this game has some 18+ elements. And the point is not that they are not here – they are and are even freely available. But the point is that the gameplay and the plot are more exciting than these elements, so I probably didn’t even see all the hot scenes.

18+ content is divided into two categories. The first is when we use tasks to bring the level of relationships with the characters to the stage where we have the opportunity to watch a sex scene, and the second is… a brothel. Yes. There is a tavern here, where for a small fee we can sleep with one of the “call girls”. As far as I remember, in the first version we are given two scenes, in the second one one. But we have access to this content already at the beginning of the game, so whoever is looking for exactly this will find it without any problems.

The scenes are well done, the girls are beautiful, there is variety, but… if you don’t look for that in a game, you can’t really appreciate it. It’s surprising, but rather in a pleasant way.

Instead of a summary

The result should be something like “I was looking at her tits, and by chance I noticed what beautiful eyes she has!” Or rather, probably the opposite. In any case, I was pleasantly surprised that among the category of similar games there are projects where the authors primarily focused not on sexual scenes, but on the game moments themselves. Due to this, the game evokes very positive emotions. Especially with its humour and the graphic style in which everything is done.

This is the same game in which you are not censored with 18+ elements – they are simply added, but no one forces you to watch them. That is why, regardless of the rating, I would recommend this game to everyone who likes “smart three in a row”. At one time in this genre I was pleasantly surprised by Ironcast, and it is unexpected to meet such an emerald among the genre, in which the gameplay is not in the first place.

But there was one “but”

Some of the reviews for the game are negative, and… this is related, not least, to the fact that the game has a glitch. And what a glitch! Out of 27 chapters, the game freezes on chapter 25. What’s more interesting is that not all achievements are released. What can be done?

The Steam community has some advice on this , as follows:

These actions should be performed before starting the game so that you can unlock all the achievements during the game.

My rating

Did the moment with achievements affect the game’s rating? No. So, the game gets 6 tentacles out of 6! A good game for adults and children 🙂
